Itty Bitty Greetings, Thank You Card, Thanksgiving Card, 2020 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card

I'm still finding cards on Pinterest  using the September 2002 Paper Pumpkin kit. Not being fond of the party favors (only because I have no need for them) I have been thrilled with all the fun ideas out there using the TONS of pieces in this kit. You can see the original card here. I changed it just a little bit only because of not having the same dies.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. Inside is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White. I added it right away so when I was done with the front I'd be all done with the card. And sometimes I forget to add the inside piece!!!

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Mango Melody card stock and taped it to the front of the card.

A 3-3/4" x 5-1/4" piece of "Plaid Tidings" Designer Series Paper was cut and taped to the top of the Mango Melody piece.

I took two of the lacy pieces from the kit and put some glue on my craft mat and took a scrap piece of card stock to thin it. I set the lacy piece on top of the thin layer of glue and pressed it down so it covered most of the back of the lacy piece. I didn't need it to cover the whole thing, just mostly the ends. I set the ends in place, centering them on the DSP. I set on on each end. The center is open but it won't show.

An oval was die cut using Whisper White card stock and the largest "Stitched" oval die. Then I die cut a Crushed Curry scalloped oval that was just a bit larger than the Whisper White oval. I taped the two ovals together.  I added Dimensionals to the back and set the oval in place on top of the card.

I took a double pumpkin and a single pumpkin from the kit. I glued the single one to the double one on the left side. While the glue was setting up, I took one of the labels from the kit and stamped the words from the "Itty Bitty Greetings" set using black Memento ink.

Dimensionals were added to the back of the pumpkins and they were set in place on the ovals. The words were taped in place over the pumpkins and the card was done.

Isn't this pretty? I love the colors and the warm and inviting look it has. I was glad I had most of the materials to make this card. It had a cheery feel to it.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
