I am SO loving this "Forever Fern" set. I found this card on Pinterest and thought I'd give it a try. I tried to find how it was made but there was no direct link. I went to their web site but after about 10 pages I gave up. I didn't have a lot of time to be looking. Links really help. Click here for link to the one I found on Pinterest. I made a few minor changes, mostly because of supplies that I didn't have.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White and I textured about 2-1/8" of the bottom with the "Ornate Floral" embossing folder. This is my focal piece.
Then I stamped the leaves stamp from the "Forever Fern" set using Versa Mark. I heat embossed it using white embossing powder. And then I sponged Soft Sea Foam in over it to make the white pop. I also stamped a different leave image on the left using Soft Sea Foam ink.

An Old Olive leaf (branch) was die cut and taped in place on top of the Whisper White focal piece.
I took another piece of Whisper White and I stamped the three leaf sets on it. For the center one I inked up the image with Crushed Curry and then sponged some Old Olive in the center. For the other two I sponged on some Cajun Craze up the center and then sponged on some Old Olive ink. I die cut them using the matching dies.
The center leaves were stamped using Real Red ink and were colored in using my Wink of Stella pen after they were die cut.
The words are from the "Itty Bitty Greetings" set and were stamped using Real Red ink. They were die cut using the stitched scalloped rectangle die from the "Stitched So Sweetly" dies.
I tapped the sponged leaves in place and then the Real Red ones on top.
The words were set in place using Dimensionals.
The edge of the focal piece was sponged using Soft Sea Foam ink and it was taped to the card base. And the card was done.
This was such a fun and easy card to make. I LOVE the colors of the sponged leaves. It's not exactly like the original but I like it just as much.
Thank you SO much for taking the time to look today,
Wanda
That Forever Fern set just always makes a pretty card.
