Forever Fern, Here's a Card, Sympathy Card, 2020 - 2021 Stampin' Up! Catalog

The "Forever Fern" set is one I do not regretting buying. It's extremely versatile. You can make wedding or anniversary cards. You can make birthday, thinking of you, thank you and get well cards with it. You can use it for Mother's day and even Christmas cards if you use the holiday colors.  I plan on wearing this set out!!  It helps to buy the dies that go with it too. Save 10% when you buy them both together (the bundle).  Today's card was found here. It is sweet and simple.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Mossy Meadow card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock.

I cut a 3-1/8" x 4-1/8" piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. And the Whisper White piece that is on top of that piece measures 3" x 4".  

The leaves from the "Forever Fern" set were stamped on Whisper White card stock using Mossy Meadow ink. Then they were die cut using the matching dies.  I made two of them.

The words are from the "Here's a Card" set and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink. 

The layers were all taped together and then the leaves were added. First I set them where I thought they looked the best and I held them together with one hand while I ran a little bit of tape on one of the leaves to hold it in place. Then I was able to turn it over without it shifting and I added a little more tape to hold the two pieces together.  I added Dimensionals to the back and set the piece in place on top of the card.

Don't forget to add a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside and the card is done.

It's SO sweet and elegant looking. I can be used for a male or female. Another versality point.
