The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I found a strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Flowers for Every Season" 6" x 6" stack. It measured 1-5/8" x 4-1/4". I cut a piece of the Magenta Madness card stock for the layer behind the strip. It measured 1-7/8" x 4-1/4".
The flower is from the "Painted Poppies" set. It was stamped using black Memento ink. I die cut it with the "Painted Labels" dies. I colored it in using my Blends pens.
The words are from the "Here's a Card" set. They were stamped using black Memento ink.
I set the flower image in place using Dimensionals and the card was done.
This was a very quick and easy card to make. Plus it's nice to be able to use the smaller pieces of scrap DSP.
This would be a great layout to whip up a bunch of cards for many other occasions.
Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today and see what I've been up to. Wanda

I love the simplicity of this card and you inspired me to watercolor it.
