Itty Bitty Christmas, Snowflake Splendor, Christmas Card

To quote Marvin the Martian, "delays, delays".  Every time I started working on my card I got interrupted by one thing or another. And the sad thing is, this card didn't take all that long to make, it's pretty simple and quick.  UGH.  But it's done and here's how I did it.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. This card opens on the left and the fold is on the right.

I had some strips of the snowflake Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Snowflake Splendor" 12" x 12" pack. One measured 3-3/4" x 1" and it was layered with a 1-1/4" x 4" piece of Pool Party card stock. The DSP on the top panel measured 3-3/4" x 3/4" and the Pool Party card stock back layer measured 4" x 1".

I taped the bottom layer about 1/2" from the folded edge and about a 1/2" from the top edge.

I taped the second panel on top of the first.

The words are from the "Itty Bitty Christmas" set. I was SO glad that set carried over from last year. It's got a lot of fun wording for the many moods of Christmas cards.

I die cut a snowflake from the "Christmas Layers" dies. I used the glitter paper and I found it a bit tough to cut. I ran it through the Big Shot three times. I set it in place on the front of the card using a small Dimensional. I colored a medium rhinestone using my dark Balmy Blue Blends Pen and I set it in place on top of the snowflake.  And the card was done.  See, it's very quick and easy to make but not if you keep getting interrupted!!!  But it did get done.  I think because it's simple and quick enough I may make several of them to add to our unusual stack of Christmas cards this year.  Not everyone is going to get the same card from us this year. I'm not making them all different but I'm not making them all the same like I usually do.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
