Banner Year, Plaid Tidings, Fall Card, 2020 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

I found another layout I like that allows you to highlight smaller images.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  The card stock was cut on the 8-1/2" side so before it was folded it measured 4-1/4" x 11.  It was folded in half at 5-1/2". This card opens at the bottom and the fold is at the top.

I cut a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Plaid Tidings" 6" x 6" paper stack. It was cut at 4-1/4" x 2-3/4".

The border piece was die cut using the die from the "Ornate Borders" dies on Rich Razzleberry card stock. I left enough of an edge (over 1/2") so I could tape it to the DSP before taping it to the front of the card. The DSP was lined up with the bottom of the card.

The words are from the Banner Year" set and were stamped using Garden Green ink. I punched them out using the "Classic Label" punch.

The pumpkin is from the "Banner Year" set and was stamped using Pumpkin Pie ink on Whisper White card stock. The stem and leaf image (both on the same stamp) were colored in with my Soft Suede and Garden Green markers. I fussy cut the piece out and then I took the matching markers and colored around the edges to hid any of the white I missed from fussy cutting.

I die cut two circles, one from Whisper White measuring 1-1/8" and one from Rich Razzleberry card stock measuring 1-3/8".  I taped the two circles together.

I had some wine colored organza ribbon that I thought would blend in nicely. I wrapped it around the card twice to make it darker and I taped the ends on the front.  I doubled a piece of ribbon and tied a knot, trimmed the ends and set it in place using a glue dot.

I taped the circles to the top left of the card and added the pumpkin using a Dimensional.

The words were set in place using three small Dimensionals and the card was done.

I REALLY like how my card turned out and I look forward to using this layout again. I have several stamp sets that have small images.

Thank you ever SO much for taking the time to visit today,
Wanda
