I have a very limited supply of Designer Series Paper (DSP) this time around. I do have a pack on back order but it's very masculine. I bought the "Flowers for Every Season" 6" x 6" pack of DSP and the masculine one and that was it. I feel limited. I'm struggling with the DSP, I don't have the in colors but I can make the current colors work. So this is what I came up with today.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of So Saffron. The fold is on the left and the card opens on the right.
On top of the card base is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White that I textured with the new "Ornate Floral" 3D"embossing folder. I taped it to the card base.
I cut a 5-1/8" x 2-1/8" piece of Crushed Curry card stock. Here's where you would probably use the new Bumblebee card stock.
Then I cut a 5" x 2" piece of the DSP and I taped it to the Crushed Curry piece. I then taped that to the front of the card, lining up the three sides.
I die cut the second largest "Stitched Circle" die using So Saffron card stock. I taped it 1-1/4" up from the bottom and centered it on each side.
I punched out the flower using the "Medium Daisy" punch. I punched two and glued them together in the center. I added a 1/2" punched circle for the center.

I die cut three leaf sets from the "Band Together" bundle using vellum. I colored the leaves using my dark Soft Sea Foam Blends pen.
I added a large Dimensional behind the flower and attached the leaves to it, then I set it in place on top of the circle at about the 11 o'clock position.
The words are from the "Band Together" set. I stamped them in black Memento ink on Whisper White card stock. I die cut it with a die from the "Ornate Frames" dies. I set it in place on top of the circle and a little past it using Dimensionals.

I stuck on some pearls and a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White on the inside and the card was done.
I do like how it turned out. I was glad I colored the leaves because they looked too light on the front of the card. This card can be used for many occasions, today's choice was birthday.
Thank you SO very much for taking the time to stop by today,
