Don't you just lvoe it when you find you have all of the products to make a card you see and like? I actually had all of the stuff to make this card I found on Pinterest. You can see the original card here. There is a link to the web site where it came from but there is not a lot of information on how the card was made.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Old Olive card stock. The front edge of the card was cut back. I cut off 1-1/2".
I cut a 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece of Terracotta Tile card stock. I had gotten a fun gift pack of Designer Series Paper and card stock pieces from Terri for placing an order. She always gives gifts with orders. I usually put these packets in my tote and rarely use them. But today I thought I should use it before it retires (like all the other packets I have!).
I cut a 2-3/8" x 5-1/8" piece of DSP that came from the "Ornate Garden" Specialty Pack. I taped it to the Terracotta Tile piece and then I taped those two to the front of the card.
I die cut the fun lacy piece from the "Ornate Layers" dies. I used Terracotta Tile card stock.
I cut a 2-1/8" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White to stamp my flowers on. The flowers are from the "Ornate Style" set and I used black Memento ink to stamp them. I had also made a mask so I could stamp the flowers in the back, well, just one flower needed the leaf mask. I colored the leaves in using both light and dark Old Olive Blends pens. I colored the center of the flowers using my sponge dauber with Crushed Curry ink on it. I just gave the dauber a twist in the center of the flower. I taped this piece to the center of the Ornate Layers piece. And then I taped it to the front of the card. I did trace a light line on the backside so I would know were to not put the tape.

The words are from the "Ornate Thanks" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink. I was going to use Old Olive ink but I forgot to grab it and I just stamped without giving it a second thought. They just pop, don't they? Old Olive would have given it a softer look.
I die cut the "Thank You" using the die that came in the "Ornate Layers" set. I taped it in place on the front of the card. Make sure you don't add any tape to the right side or your card will not open!
I took a piece of Terracotta Tile and cut it 4" x 5-1/4" and I cut a piece of Whisper White 3-7/8" x 5-1/8". I taped the two pieces together and then I taped them to the inside of the card. And the card was done. On the original card, there was a flower and some wording on the inside. I prefer to leave mine blank.
I like the look of this card but I thought it was a lot of work, only because I made some mistakes that took some time to fix and then I ended up redoing it anyway. So it doesn't bring joy so I won't be making another one any time soon! LOL
Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
