Now that I found a fun card using the "Many Layered Blossoms" dies, I feel better about buying it. After yesterday's card I was feeling like I made a wrong purchase. But finding this card was great. I LOVE the colors and the ease of making it. You can see the original card here.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.
I used Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana card stock for the flowers.
For the thicker die, the background part of the flower image I used Bermuda Bay card stock.
Then I die cut the Coastal Cabana card stock with the thinner die. I did use the double sided sticky sheet on the backside of my card stock. I wanted my piece to be a sticker. But I do have an easy trick if you don't have the sticky sheets. You can put some white glue on a piece of waxed paper or use a craft sheet. I save the sheets my Dimensionals come on and use the side the Dimensionals were sitting on. A craft sheet and waxed paper would be a larger surface. But you do what works best, convenient or easiest for you. With the glue on your surface of choice, gently fold the piece but don't make a crease, just let it be rounded. You want to squish the glue so it's thinner and pretty even. You can also spread the glue around any way you wish, just make sure it's thin. Then set your piece on top. I lay a piece of copier paper over my die cut piece and I press down quickly and then remove the copier paper quickly. Remove the die cut piece and immediately set it in place. I set it under something heavy while I work on other aspects of my card. So I would recommend doing this part before any other part of the card.
I got out the words from the "Blossoms in Bloom" set. And I got out my black Memento ink.
I took my folded card base and I set my die cut flowers in place on it. For my flowers I had used the double stick sheets for the top and the bottom. Not paying attention to the original card. Nothing was used on the bottom layer. The piece was set in place on the card using Dimenisonals on the thicker areas of the piece. If I make another one, I will try the Dimensionals but I do like how mine turned out too.
You set the flower piece on the bottom part of the card and cut away the excess.
Then you take the rest of the flower piece and put in on the top part of the card and trim off any excess.
The words were added after the flowers were on so you could see where to place them.
The original card used Wink of Stella over the flowers. I didn't have any but it's on my wish list. I didn't realize I ran out. But I bet if I looked really hard in my messy workroom I may find a brand new one lurking around there somewhere!!! Someone come and organize my workroom. You can play in it too!! Anyway, the Wink of Stella does add a nice shimmer to the flowers. Once you add that (or not) the card is finished.
This was a very easy and quick card to make. Plus it's SO pretty. Now I want to play with some red and pink and see what I get. And some of the yellows too!!! I'm now excited about playing with this set, the dies and the stamps.
Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda

Very pretty card! That is a great set. I had to laugh about maybe finding a Wink of Stella lurking around on your table. Now and then that happens here too.
Lovely card.
I have just ordered the stamp & die set.
I can not wait to receive it.
