Earlier this month I had made a card using this layout. I had cut my Designer Series Paper (DSP) in half and I had two pieces left, so I taped them to the front of a card and set it aside for another day. Today was that day. You can see that card here.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that I had taped two 2-1/8" x 5-1/4" pieces of DSP from the "Pleased as Punch" 12" x 12" paper pack.
I stamped the words from the "Bonanza Buddies" stamp set from the 2020 Spring Catalog. I just LOVE those words in the set. I didn't expect to find words like that in a set that leaned more towards children. These words are just too sweet. I stamped them using Calypso Coral ink. Regretting not using Mossy Meadow instead. But it still works. I stamped them on Whisper White card stock.
I die cut the words using the stitched circle die.
I die cut a scalloped circle using Calypso Coral card stock. I taped the two layers together.
I was just going to set the circle in the middle of the card using Dimensionals but I thought it needed something more. I grabbed my Baker's Twine and thought I would add some fun string to the card. I was going to use some silver thread but it looked too think for this card. If the flowers were more delicate I think it would have worked but since the flowers were more whimsical, I thought the twine would look better. I took the twine and just made loops and taped each one down individually.

I added Dimensionals to the back of the word layers and I set them in place over the twine, centering it on the front of the card.
And that was it. Super easy and super quick when you use stuff sitting around.
Thank you ever SO much for taking the time to stop by, and be well,
Wanda
