Flowering Foils, Wonderful Moments, Waterfront, Birthday Card

I found a video on the internet that used the "Flowering Foils" Designer Series Paper for the focal part of the card.  You can see that video here. I found it a bit difficult to follow at times because I didn't feel she was totally organized and she didn't always say what color she was using. And I didn't get the measurement of the strip till it was too late.  I will provide you with the instructions as I made it and you can visit the video to learn how to tie that fun bow.  There's several cards on that video so you will need to find this one somewhere after the first third mark.

The base of the card I guessed was a folded half-sheet of Pool Party.

The next layer is Pear Pizzazz and it was cut at 5" x 3-3/4".

The Whisper White card stock was cut at 4-7/8" x 3-5/8".

That strip is from the Flowering Foils and cut it at 1". I just kind of eyed it and mine was almost 1" wide.  And it needs to be cut at 4-7/8". Mine came out a bit short. I could have cut the strip and hid the seam under the flower but I didn't think of that until now. But it looks okay the way it is.

The dots were stamped using the image from the "Waterfront" set and Pear Pizzazz ink.  You can see the placement of it in the video. It was only stamped three times on the Whisper White piece.

The layers were taped down and then the strip. There is also a punched strip added on the bottom right edge of the strip.  Add that before you set the strip in place.

The words are from the "Wonderful Moments" set.  The original card used the "congratulations" from the "Here's a Card" set.

I added some snail tape to the center of the flower and then wrapped some silver thread around my fingers and then stuck them to the back of the flower.

Dimensionals were added to the flower and the flower was set in place.

Crystal rhinestones were added to the background.

The bow was from the "Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon" spool. It was colored using the light Pool party Blends pen.  It doesn't take long to dry and you can color that ribbon to match all of your cards.  Well, as long as there's a Blends pen to match!  You may want to watch the video on how to make that bow. It's a fun and easy way to make it. That part gets a thumbs up in my book.

A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock was added to the inside of the card and the card was done.

I really like the looks of this card. The colors are what really caught my eye.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today. I hope you are all still well and safe.
