The "Beautiful You" set is going to be retiring. I had to look it up to be sure. It's kind of sad because it is a fun and easy set to work with. I found a card on Pinterest that used the set and the "Best Dressed" Designer Series Paper (DSP). You can see that card here. I did change it a little.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Melon Mambo. I didn't have any Lovely Lipstick card stock. I don't always buy the in colors. Only if they really catch my eye. That set did not so I didn't buy any one of them. But they do coordinate with other colors or almost match, so I ran with that. I think it blends well enough. It may have blended better if I hadn't run the strip on top of the DSP but no one is going to notice that. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left. The original card opened on the bottom and the fold was on the top.
I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock on top of the card base.
I cut the DSP to 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" and I taped it to the top of the Whisper White piece.

I cut a 1-1/4" x 5-1/8" strip of Melon Mambo card stock and I taped it on top of the DSP.
I die cut the largest stitched oval on a piece of Whisper White card stock. You can stamp the image first or stamp it later. I opted to stamp it after I die cut the oval.
I stamped the image from the "Beautiful You" set using black Memento ink. I colored the hat and dress in using my Blender pen and my Melon Mambo ink pad.
I die cut an oval from vellum that was just a little larger than the stitched oval. I taped the vellum oval to the front of the card.

I set the Whisper White oval in place on top of the vellum oval using Dimensionals.
I stamped the words from the "Peaceful Moments" set using black Memento ink. I die cut them with an oval die and I also die cut a Melon Mambo scalloped oval for the back layer. I taped the two layers together and I set them in place on the front of the card with Dimensionals on the right and tape on the left. And that was it.
This was a very quick and easy card to make. I do like the look of the vellum behind the oval. And I was glad I found a use for that particular design of DSP in that pack. I found that one difficult to work with but this is a perfect place for it!
Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
