Welcome Easter, Baby Card, 2020 Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog

Isn't this card the most adorable baby card?  I found it here.  There were no instructions that I could find when I clicked on the photo. I was taken to the web site but no info.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Highland Heather card stock.  This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cit a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Highland Heather Subtles gingham Designer Series Paper (DSP).

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisepr White card stock.  I centered, from side to side, the 2-1/4" circle die. The circle is about 3/4" from the top.

I turned my Whisper White piece over and I added a piece of window sheet (acetate) over the circle. I glued it in place.  I set it aside to dry.

Next I stamped the words that are from the "Welcome Easter" set.  I used black Memento ink to stamp them.  I stamped them about 3/8" up from the bottom edge.

I stamped the sheep using black Memento ink.  I fussy cut the sheep and colored it in using my Blends pens.  I used the light Smoky Slate in the gray areas. I used light Highland Heather for the bow.  And I used both light and dark Crumb Cake for the face and ears.  I did use the dark Basic Black Blends for the feet and nose. I think a Basic Black marker would have been better.  The Blends black just isn't dark enough.  But it's okay, I still like the look.

I set the lamb on top of the Whisper White piece so I could see where I needed to stamp the bee and the grass images.  I used black Memento ink to stamp them.

I colored the bee with my Daffodil Delight marker, not my Blends pen.

I colored the grass with my Granny Apple Green marker, not my Blends pen.

I took the Whisper White piece and added some foam strips to go around the circle.

I added some sequins to the circle.  Mine are from the "Iridescent" sequins assortment.

I removed the protective backing on the foam strip pieces and set the DSP piece in place.

I added Dimensionals to the back of the Whisper White piece and snail tape to the back of the DSP piece. I set the piece in place on the card base, making sure to center it as best as I could.

I added a glue dot behind the sheep's head and snail tape to the lower part of the sheep and I set it in place as you see in the photo.

1 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White is added to the inside of the card and it was done.

Isn't it just too stinkin' cute?  I like this set because it's not only good for Easter but also for baby cards. I love versatile stamp sets.

Thank you ever so much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
