Birthday Bonanza, Flowering Foils DSP, Stampin' Up! 2020 Spring Catalog

Today's card was a quick and fun one and I think you will enjoy making.  

First you will take a half-sheet of Whisper White card stock and fold it in half. The card will have the fold on the left and it will open on the right.

I took a 2" x 5" piece of the "Flowering Foils" Designer Series Paper (DSP) and I sponged Balmy Blue ink over it.

I fussy cut the flower from the "Flowering Foils" paper pack and I used my Blends pens to color it.

I colored the leaves with both light and dark Old Olive Blends.  

Then I colored the center of the flower using the dark Daffodil Delight Blends pen.

I colored the flower in using the light Petal Pink" Blends pen.

I colored in the center and under some petals using the dark Petal Pink Blends pen.

I also colored the buds using the dark Petal Pink Blends pen.

I taped the Balmy Blue sponged strip in place using snail tape.

The words are from the "Birthday Bonanza" set. I used black Memento ink to stamp them.

Then I added the flower using Dimensionals.  

And that was it.  It's super easy and quick.  The fussy cutting took the longest and that didn't really take all that long.
