I found this fun card on Pinterest. I hadn't put away the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from yesterday's card. You can see the original card here.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of DSP from the "So Very Vellum" 12" x 12" paper pack. I used snail tape to set it in place.
Then I fussy cut the flower cluster from the "Flowering Foils" 12" x 12" DSP paper pack.
I colored the flowers by using a sponge and ink pads.
I had sponged the leaves using Old Olive ink. I sponged the flowers using Petal Pink ink. And the center of the flowers were colored using the dark Daffodil Delight Blends pen. I had colored the buds using Petal Pink in, but I colored over them with the Blends pen. It just punched up the color a bit more.
The words are from the "Beautiful Bouquet" set and I stamped them using Old Olive ink. I punched them out with the 1-3/8" circle punch.
I set the flowers in place using Dimensionals. And I used Dimensionals on the back of the word circle. I slipped the circle under the flower and leaf before pressing it in place.
This was a very fun and easy card to make. I have LOTS of flowers left in the package to play with. I need to surf the net for some more ideas because I'm having trouble thinking of things on my own when I have busy weeks.
I thank you ever so much for taking the time to visit today,
Wanda
