I found this fun card on Pinterest. What caught my eye was the background. I did change it a bit because I cut my card stock smaller.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Mosss Meadow card stock.
I cut a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the turtle from the "Back on Your Feet" set using Crumb Cake ink. I stamped him several times. I didn't quite get him like it was on the original card, that is why mine looks bit different.
I stamped the words from the "Back on Your Feet" set using black Memento ink. My open area was on the right, so that is where I stamped my wording. I taped this layer on top of the Mossy Meadow piece.
Then I stamped the turtle on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock using black Memento ink. I colored him in using Blends pens. I used both light and dark Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. I used the light Crumb Cake pen on the bottom of the feet and between the rectangle areas on the shell. It doesn't show up very well there because I colored the whole shell in using the light Old Olive. A mistake. But in person it does look a little darker between the rectangles. I still think it looks cute. It's kind of hard to ruin this guy.
I die cut the turtle with a circle die. I didn't remove the die after I was done cutting. I took the fine point end of my Basic Black marker (not Blends pen) and drew around the inside a few times. I did wipe the marker off the inside of the circle.
I added Dimensionals on the back of the turtle circle and I set it in place on the card. I centered it from right to left and set it up a bit higher on the card. And the card was done.
I think it's an adorable card and I just can't get enough of this turtle.
