Today's card came from the internet. I found it here. I had friends over stamping on Tuesday and Sharon and I worked on a few of these cards. We set up the Stamparatus so we could stamp a few cards each and quickly. It was fun. I LOVE using the Stamparatus for quick reproduction of cards. It sure makes swapping less of an effort. Anything to help out!
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.
The Old Olive green leaves were stamped first. The upper one first and then the stamp was cleaned and moved to the bottom part of the card front. Then that leave image was stamped.
Then the diamond strip image was stamped. It too had to be stamped in two sections. I used Soft Sea Foam for that one.
From there we were on our own with the stamping. The tiny flowers were added. The original card looks like it used Rococo Rose but I don't have that color so we used Flirty Flamingo. The next closes color to it other than Blushing Bride.
Then we stamped the Daffodil Delight dotted image. I'm sure it's supposed to be buds or seed pods.
The large flowers were stamped on scrap card stock using Highland Heather ink and punched out with the "Small Bloom" punch. Both the punch and the "Thoughtful Blooms" stamp set are Sale-a-Bration items. The flowers were then set in place using Dimensionals.
The words are from the "Butterfly Wishes" set and they were stamped using black Memento ink. Then they were die cut with an oval die.
A Flirty Flamingo scalloped circle was die cut and the two ovals were taped together and set in place using Dimensionals.
And for the final touch, small rhinestones were set on the inside of each punched flower.
It's such a pretty card. It's simple and colorful.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
