Here's a pretty card I found on the internet. I liked the colors. I don't use the Granny Apple Green much and this was a perfect card to do so.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Granny Apple Green. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
On top of the card base is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock. On the bottom of that piece is a 4" x 3" piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock that was textured using the "Lace" embossing folder. I do not have the new machine that takes these 3D folders but I was able to make my machine work using the thick cardboard that comes in my Paper Pumpkin kit and my magnetic platform only. No other plates. You can also use the thick cardboard that comes in your glitter paper or other specialty papers. You can always use the thinner cardboard (box board) from other papers or a cereal box, but you will have to use two or three to get the right thickness. I glued on my textured piece because I don't feel that tape holds well with all of those open areas where it doesn't make contact to the card stock.
I taped a piece of ribbon around the card and taped the ends on the backside using scotch tape. Then I taped the whole piece to the card base.
I stamped the swirl of leaves from the "Thoughtful Blooms" Sale-a-Bration catalog using Granny Apple Green ink. Then I stamped some tiny flowers using Flirty Flamingo ink.
I thought the background on the circle could use a bit of punching up so I stamped some Smoky Slate dots from the same set. I die cut it with the second largest circle die and I also die cut a scalloped circle for the back layer. I taped those two layers together.
I stamped the larger flower on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and punched it out using the matching punch in the Sale-a-Bration catalog. I set the flower in place using a Dimensional.

I set the circle layers in place using Dimensionals. Then I added the pearls. I did color the pearl of the larger flower using the light Pumpkin Pie Blends pen.
The words are from the "Here's a Card" set. They were stamped using black Memento ink. I cut the strip to 1" long by 3-1/2". I tried to get the words as centered as possible. Then I used the "Triple Banner" punch and punched the ends. I set the words in place using Dimensionals.
I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside and the card was done.
I love the colors here. I think the bottom could use some other texture but this is what I thought would look good and ran with it. It was fun to make and I can see myself making more using this layout.
Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by,
Wanda
