I thought I would put my 2020 Sale-a-Bration sets aside for a day or two and play with the "Painted Poppies" set. I saw a fun card that I thought would be quick to make since my day was getting away from me. This is a very quick and easy card to make. You can see my inspiration for it here. I just made it a regular card without the fancy opening.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Powder Pink. Which I realized was the wrong color after I had stamped on the card. I couldn't figure out why the Petal Pink ink wasn't working for me. The card stock should be Petal Pink. I need to check the rest of my Petal Pink pack and see if there are more pieces in there that shouldn't be. I need to pay better attention.
I stamped the fun splat image on the card stock using Petal Pink ink. It will be much more subtle when you do it with the right color card stock.

I cut a 4-1/2" x 2-3/4" piece of Flirty Flaming card stock for my layer.
I cut a 4-1/4" x 2-1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock to stamp my image from the "Painted Poppies" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink. I colored the flowers using both the dark and light Flirty Flamingo Blends pens. First I colored all the flowers with the light one and then colored some with the dark.
The words are from the "Back on Your Feet" set. I set them up in my Stamparatus and stamped them using black Memento ink.
I taped the two layers together and set them in place on the front of the card using Dimensionals.
I found some Flirty Flamingo ribbon that is retired. I tied a knot and glued it in place on the corner of the Whisper White panel.
I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock on the inside and the card was done.
This was a very quick and fun card to make. I was in need of a get well card and this one is now ready for the mailbox tomorrow morning!
Thank you ever so much for visiting today,

Very pretty card! I love the idea of using that "splat" stamp to make a background on the card base! I'm going to use that idea!
