On the 12th I was at Terri's wonderful Stamp-a-Stack and this was one of the cards on the display board that I thought was SO darn cute. I took a picture of it in hopes that I would look back at my photos and make one. I often take tons of pictures at the Stamp-a-Stacks and rarely look back on them. I think I forget that I have them.
The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Blushing Bride card stock. This card opens at the bottom and the fold is at the top.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Flirty Flamingo and taped it to the card base.
I cut a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White card stock and taped it to the Flirty Flamingo piece.
I took a 1-1/2" strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "From My Heart" 12" x 12" package and cut it 4-1/2" long. I used the "Triple Banner Punch" to cut the points on the end of the right side.
I taped the strip of DSP in place, making sure to line up the left edge against the Whisper White edge.
I stamped the cute image from the "Whitty-Cisims" set using black Memento ink.
Then I die cut the oval using the second largest stitched oval.
I used both light and dark Real Red Blends pens to color in the image. It was super easy and quick to color. I just colored with the light pen first and then went over some lower, shaded areas with the dark pen. And that was it for coloring.
I set the oval in place using Dimensionals and the card was done.
This was a very quick and easy card to make. I like this layout too. I may try it with a different set and different DSP and see what I get.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
