While looking though the stamp sets I have, I ran across the "Varied Vases" set. I have not played with it for a while and I have a feeling it's going to retire.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Real Red card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock and on top of that is a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White. I taped the Whisper White piece to the Basic Black piece.
I cut a 5" x 2" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 6 x 6" Regals pack. I need to use those packs more too. There's a awful lot of paper in those packs and in all the colors in each collection!! I taped the DSP in place on the left side of the Whisper White piece.
I took a piece of black ribbon and I taped it to the DSP and Whisper White piece. I used the edge of the DSP as a guide for the ribbon. I taped the ends of the ribbon on the backside using some snail first and once they were where I wanted them, I taped them down with scotch tape. Then I taped the entire piece to the card base.
Next I stamped the vase from the "Varied Vases" set on a piece of scrap Whisper White using black Memento ink.
I stamped the words from the "Good Morning Magnolia" set using black Memento ink. I die cut them using the Stitched rectangle die that is close to 3-5/8" x 2-1/4". I left about 3/8" of open space at the bottom. I should have only left 1/4" instead. I had to make the stems shorter than I wanted. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock at 3-7/8" x 2-1/2" for the layer.
I stamped the vase from the "Varied Vases" using black Memento ink. I punched it out with the matching punch. I lined up the vase on the rectangle piece to see where the flowers were going to go. I stamped the flowers and colored them in using the Real Red Blends Pens. And I colored the center of the flowers with the dark Daffodil Delight Blends pen.
I taped the rectangles together and set them in place on the front of the card using Dimensionals. I set the vase in place using small Dimensionals. I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card and it was done.
This was a fun and quick card to make.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

I have loved this stamp set since Mary Fish designed it. Thanks for the nudge to play with it again. I love your pretty card. Color coordination is one thing I love about Stampin Up products. Enjoy your day, Wanda.
