Today I had found a fun card on the Internet using the new "Thoughtful Blooms" Sale-a-Bration set. I didn't have the same colors that were used but I found some that were close enough to make this card. This set reminds me of one that was sold a number of years ago. I don't remember what it was called though. And I thought this would be a fun One Sheet Wonder but I didn't want a full sheet of this design so I just made a quarter sheet wonder! And I did end up getting two cards out of it. My main thought/plan for this card was to add a punched daisy to the card but once I got done with all the stamping and colors I forgot about it!
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Mint Macron.
I stamped the "Thinking of You" from the "Woven Heirlooms" set using Pacific Point ink. Then I used the "Subtle" embossing folder and textured the piece. I think it gives it the look of linen paper.

I stamped the flowers from the "Thoughtful Blooms" set using the following ink pads, Pacific Point, Mint Macaron, Soft Sea Foam and Poppy Parade. I cut the 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Whisper White to 3-3/4" x 2-1/4". I cut another piece the same size so I could make two cards.
I cut a piece of Pacific Point card stock at 4" x 2-1/2". I taped this and the Whisper White stamped piece together.
I took a piece of ribbon and taped the ends of the ribbon on the backside of the two taped pieces of card stock. I took another piece of ribbon and tied a knot onto the piece of ribbon I taped to the two layers. I left the ribbon on the spool to do this so it wouldn't waste ribbon.
I set the panel in place using Dimenisonals and the card was done.
This was a fun card to make and it's very colorful!
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
