I still had the "Thoughtful Blooms" set and the matching paper punch sitting out. I know that didn't surprise you at all. Had I said I put it away, then you'd be surprised or even shocked!!! I know I would. LOL
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Calypso Coral card stock.
The Whisper White focal piece was cut 3-3/4" x 5". I stamped the leaves from the "Thoughtful Blooms" set using Old Olive ink. I just stamped across the bottom of the card until it was filled in enough. Looking at the card here, I probably should have drawn a pencil line to keep the leaves straight. They kind of go downhill on the right. Maybe if I nudge the flower up on the right a bit it might not show as much. (PS, it didn't work!!!).
I stamped the solid flower in the set using Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo and Poppy Parade inks. I had stamped and punched out two of each but only used five.
Next I stamped the words from the "Sending You Thoughts" set. Both the "Sending You Thoughts" , "Thoughtful Blooms", and the matching flower punch are from the 2020 Sale-a-Bration catalog. I set the flowers in place using Dimensionals.
I tied a piece of white Baker's Twine around the card twice and tied a bow.
Then I set the whole Whisper White panel in place on the Calypso Coral piece using Dimensionals. I taped the Calypso Coral piece to the card base.
And for the final touch, I added small pearls to the center of each flower.
This was a very quick and easy card to make. I am kind of stuck on those colors too. It's so cheery. We got a lot of snow, cold and wind and it's just all white out there. These colors are SO welcome!!
Thank you for stopping by today,
Wanda
