Little Ladybug, Birthday Card, 2020 Sale-a-Bration

Today I got a bug in my bonnet to make a different card.  Well, I didn't realize how much time I would be spending on making this cute card.  I found the card here on YouTube.  The step by step instructions are great.

I didn't have the Designer Series Paper (DSP), so I used the Regals DSP 6" x 6" paper pack.

I didn't have the embossing folder that was used so I used the "Lace 3D" one.

I didn't have the die cut for the words on the front so I used the "Stitched Nested Labels" dies.

I didn't have the 2" circle punch, so I used the closest circle in the "Layering Circle Framelets."  I did have a 2" circle punch but it's an old leaver one and it didn't reach in as far as I needed it to. But I made do with what I had and it worked.  I have a friend who's birthday is today and I will be seeing her tomorrow.  I'm excited to give her this card because she loves different techniques and teaches them to her downline.

I just love this ladybug.  I had made a necklace (still not finished) for my granddaughter that has a ladybug on it and now I'm motivated to finish it (all I have to do is glue a bail on it). Then I can make her a cute little card with this "Little Ladybug" stamp set and give her the cute necklace. I'll post it on here when I get it done.

This was a fun card to make but a bit of time is involved.  I was glad for the great instructions, it made it all worth while and with limited mistakes.  Ya gotta love instructions like that.  I didn't have to stop and say "what, I don't get it."

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
