To Every Season, Itty Bitty Christmas, Christmas Card

Today's card is SUPER easy and quick one to make.  Which was good because I didn't have a lot of time today to make a card.  Christmas time is such a busy time and any spare moments are precious!!!

I found this card on Pinterest and I wanted to make it, not only because I liked it but because I already had the snowflake die cut out and sitting on my worktable. It's great when you can use up stuff that's just sitting around.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Seaside Spray card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Feels Like Frost" 6" x 6" paper pack.  I am glad I found a quick and easy card to make with the DSP because I had bought two packages of it and at the end of the month it retires!  I will probably be making cards to give as gift with it.  Anyway, I taped the DSP to the front of the card base.

I taped my snowflake die that came from the "To Every Season bundle. It's called "Christmas Layers" dies.  I had die cut the snowflake one using Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper.  I'm not fond of die cutting that paper because it's SO thick and doesn't like to cut through. I often run a piece of card stock on top of my embossing plates to give it a bit more thickness.  And sometimes I've even ran a piece of the thin cardboard that comes in the 12" x 12" DSP packs.  To affix the snowflakes to the DSP, I just put some snail tape on the DSP where I thought the words would be hiding it and I set it in place.

The words are from the "Itty Bitty Christmas" set. I stamped them using Seaside Spray ink. I punched them out using a 1-1/2" circle punch.  I added Dimensionals to the back and set the circle in place.

I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside and the card was done.

It was a fun and like I said, a SUPER easy and quick card to make.  I can see myself making more of these!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
