The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. I did fold it in half before I cut off 1" on the right edge on the front.
I taped a 1-1/4" piece of Designer Series paper from the "Magnolia Lane" set on the inside right edge.
I stamped the turtle using black Memento ink on Whisper White Card stock. I die cut him using the largest Stitched oval die. I also die cut a Mossy Meadow scalloped oval.
I colored the turtle using the light Mossy Meadow Blends pen. I colored the belly using light Daffodil Delight Blends Pen and I added a little highlights using the dark Daffodil Delight Blends Pen. I thought there was too much dark on the turtle, so I decided to go grab my Old Olive Blends pens and color the shell with the light one and the highlights with the dark one. I colored the space between the squares on the shell with the light Soft Suede Blends pen and I also used it on the bottom of the feet.
The words are from the "Back on your Feet" set. I stamped them using Mossy Meadow ink. I did set the oval up in my Stamparatus so I could get the words exactly where I wanted them and to make sure I got them dark enough too. I did have to stamp them twice to get the color I wanted. That's what is great about the Stamparatus, you can stamp over and over again until you get the look you want and it will stamp in the same spot every time.
I stamped the "bubbles" from the "Beauty Abounds" set using Mossy Meadow ink and Daffodil Delight ink.
I taped the oval layers together and I set the oval in place using Dimensionals. Be careful not to get the Dimensionals on the right edge or it will seal your card shut!

This was a fun card to make but I think I'm going to stick to Old Olive for my turtle in the future!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
