Today I made one of those pocket cards. I LOVE the look of these and they are super easy to make.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. I took a 2" x 4-3/4" strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Let it Snow" 12" x 12" paper pack. I cut a 5" x 2-1/4" piece of Real Red card stock.
Next I made the pocket. I found the instructions here. They are very easy to follow and all you need is a 6" x 6" piece of DSP. After folding mine, I glued it so it wouldn't come apart.
I die cut a Bermuda Bay circle and a Whisper White scalloped circle. I taped the two of them together.
The snowman is from a piece of DSP from the same pack. There's a page that has snowmen that are textured. Some of them are even the same size as the matching punch so you could punch one out. But I had one in my stamp set that I had fussy cut. I set the snowman in place using Dimensionals. I added the arms from the "Let it Snow" Embellishment Kit. I also added the charcoal buttons from the same kit. I set the circle on the pocket using Dimensionals.

I set the pocket on top of the card so I could see where to put the words. The words are from the "Snowman Season" set and I stamped them using Real Red ink.
Then I taped the pocket in place. I added a little hat from the same DSP. I set it in place using Dimensionals.
I added two Hershey Holiday mini candy bars in the packet. And there you have it. This little pocket also holds a gift card (or cash). Fun, huh?
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
