I decided that this is going to be the card I make using up the rest of the cards in my October 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit. I have 7 cards left and this is the card I REALLY like. I found the card on Pinterest. You can see the original card by clicking here. I didn't look to see how the card was made, I just did it the way I thought it was done.
The base of the card is the actual card from the October 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit. I took two pieces of Whisper White card stock that was cut 4" x 5-1/4" and the largest circle from the "Layering Circle" dies and cut them both out at the same time. I needed both of them to be exactly the same. I taped the two layers together. Now I probably should have stamped first and then taped but after all, I was only stamping some falling snow. The original card shows the snow only at the top part of the card. I wanted it all over. I did stamp off using the Pool Party ink pad. I needed the snowflakes to be soft and light. After stamping them, I set the piece in place using Dimensionals.
I set up the words from the kit in my Stamparatus and I stamped them on the ribbon piece of card stock from the kit using black Memento ink. I set the words in place using Dimensionals.
I took the red bird from the kit and I cut a piece of Dimensional to fit the back and I set it in place on the tree. I took a black fine point marker and I colored in the face and added a few wisps of black marker to make it look like a wing and tail feathers. I did go online and look up a cardinal to figure out how to make it look more real than just a solid red bird.
In the sky I added some snowflakes from the "Snowflake Sequins" container using glue to adhere them. I also added two to the word piece too.
And that was it. The card was done and I REALLY liked how it looked.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
