Today I played with an interesting die cut that I had. I'm not so fond of it. It's pretty and all but it's difficult to work with.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.
On the left I taped a scrap piece from the "Let it Snow" Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. My piece measured 5-1/2" x 2".
I die cut the bulb using Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper. I also cut the top part again so I could color it. The trees and stars were cut from the dame glitter paper. This die had the trees and stars with it.

I found the cute image on Pinterest. I just did a search for "Vintage Girl with Snowmen". I found a child with a snowman and I clicked on it and then I scrolled down to see what other images there were under that search and I found it there. I copied it to my computer and then I printed it out after sizing it to fit the circle. Here's the link to this image.
I put the die over my image and cut it out. Then I had to figure out a way to get it to stick back into the circle. I ended up adding little bits of scotch tape to it. And I added LOTS
I took my spritzer bottle and mixed some Real Red ink with alcohol and sprayed the ribbon piece. I did trim it up a bit to get only the ribbon. I sprayed the trees using Pool Party ink and alcohol and the stars with Daffodil Delight ink and alcohol. I let them dry before I glued them in place. They dry pretty fast.
I cut the tip of the bulb using some silver foil card stock. That piece is also a single die in the set.
The words are from the Itty Bitty Christmas" set. I stamped them using Shaded Spruce ink.
I was ready to set the bulb in place. I added Dimensionals to the back, making sure I caught both the circle and the rest of the bulb. I REALLY wanted to make sure that circle wasn't coming out. I set the bulb up a little higher than center and that was it.
It was a fun card to make but I need to rethink how to work with it so I don't have to work so hard to make sure that circle stays in place.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
