Today's card is a super quick and simple one. I was looking through my package of "Feels Like Frost" 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP). I pulled out all of the pieces from the package and this strip fell out. I thought I could make a card using it. It's best to use up those smaller pieces, right? Like I've ever used up a single package of DSP that I've purchased! LOL
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Balmy Blue card stock. The Whisper White piece of card stock was cut 4" x 5-1/4".
I cut a piece of Balmy Blue card stock to measure 1-3/4" x 4-1/2". I trimmed my strip of the DSP to 1-5/8" x 4-3/8". I taped the two layers together. I set them on top of the Whisper White piece so I could see where to stamp the words.
The words are from the "Itty Bitty Christmas" set. I stamped them using Night of Navy ink. I thought about using black Memento ink but felt it might be too dark. I am glad I went with the Night of Navy. It's just dark enough to see but yet matches the colors in the image better. I taped the piece to the card base.
I added Dimensionals to the back of the panel and set it in place on Whisper White piece and the card was done.
It's quick, clean and simple. And I used a piece of DSP that was sitting loose in my package!!!
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda

Your card is wonderful! I absolutely love the Feels Like Frost papers and too pretty to throw away useable scraps! When I saw them I knew I had to have them and have had so much fun making cards with them. I also love the new Balmy Blue color!
