Today I thought I would make a Thanksgiving card. It's just around the corner and I haven't played with this set much. I think I bought this set for the apple. Thinking I would make get well cards with it. Though the jack-o-lantern in the set is cute too.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that I added a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 6" x 6" Regals Collection. You get a LOT of papers in this pack and you get every color in that collection.
Next I die cut the Stitched Circle, I used the largest one.
I stamped the pumpkin from the "Harvest Hellos" set using Cajun Craze ink on Cajun Craze card stock. I stamped the leaf and the stem from the set too. I took the matching punch and punched out each piece. It's not a die cut, it's an actual punch. It's fun to use punches now and then instead of die cuts all the time. I'm only saying that because I didn't have to get off my butt to cut things out!!! LOL

I glued the stem and the leaf to the back of the pumpkin.
I stamped the words from the same set. I used Cajun Craze to stamp them. I think Mossy Meadow would have been a better color but this worked.
I set the circle in place using Dimensionals. Then I set the pumpkin in place using Dimensionals.
I added some Mossy Meadow colored enamel dots. I colored them using the dark Mossy Meadow Blends pen. They were sticky so I just set them in place on the card. And that was it.
This was a very quick card to make. I don't know if I would make anymore though. It wasn't that fun. Though I do like the layout and could see this with an apple instead of a pumpkin and making it a get well card or a teacher card.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
