I found this adorable Paper Pumpkin alternative card on the internet. I really liked the look of this one, so I had to make one. You can see the original card here.
The base of the card is the actual card from the October 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit. On top of the image I cut two 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock. I die cut one of the circles and then I set it on top of the other piece and die cut them both together so they would be exactly the same.
I took the trees from the kit and I cut them in half. I set one of the circles on the front of the card and then I taped the trees in place. Then I taped the two Whisper White pieces together, sandwiching the trees between them. That top piece needed more stability plus it holds the trees in. I added two of the cardinals that came in the kit. I just used a glue dot to hold them in place. The glue dots come with the kit too!
I stamped the words from the kit on one of the ribbon labels from the kit. I set it up in my Stamparatus so I could get them straight. I set the words in place using Dimensionals.
I added some "Snowflake" sequins to the blue sky and then I thought the outside of the card could use some too.
I like this card but I don't think I will make anymore of them. I saw some other fun ones I want to give a try to before I use up all the materials in this kit. My goal is to do just that, use up all of the materials in this kit!! By which I mean, the cards. There's always smaller pieces left from kits.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
