Over the Moon, Itty Bitty Greetings, Get Well Card, 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Catalog

I think this card is so stinkin' cute.  I found it on Pinterest and I just had to make one.  You can see the original card here. 

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1.4" piece of Whisper White that was textured using the "Wood Planks" 3-D embossing folder.  

I stamped the "Buffalo Plaid" image using black Memento ink.  I cut the piece about 1-1/8" wide. I wanted to make sure I got three rows of the plaid.  And the length measures 4".  I taped that piece in place.  I added a piece of Real Red ribbon and some smaller Daffodil Delight ribbon (both retired because I don't have many spools that aren't).  I taped the ends of the ribbon to the backside of the textured piece.  Now this wasn't easy for me to work on this piece because I had already added tape to the back of it before I added the Buffalo Plaid and ribbons.  Not thinking.  Again!!!  But once I got the ribbons on, I added some scotch tape to the back to hold them down.  Then I set the piece in place on the card base.  Then the card became easy again!!!

I stamped the cow from the "Over the Moon" set using black Memento ink.  I did die cut the piece first and then I lined it up on the Stamparatus and then I stamped it.  The words are from the "Itty Bitty Greetings" set and I stamped them using black Memento ink.  I colored the cow in using my markers, except for the nose, I used my Dark Petal Pink Blends Pen.  I colored the spots with Basic Black. Then I colored the hands and hornss with Sahara Sand.  I colored in the feet with Real Red and a line of Basic Black on the bottom.  The flower petals were colored using Pear Pizzazz and Granny Apple Green. The center of the flower is Daffodil Delight and the nostrils and inside the ears is Petal Pink.  And that was it for the coloring.  Very easy.

I die cut a Real Red piece for the top and bottom of the focal piece. I just cut one and cut it in half. I taped it in place on each end and then I added Dimensionals to the back and set the piece in place.

It was a very easy card to make and I think it's SO adorable.
