I found a pretty card on Pinterest using the Hydrangea image from the "Beautiful Friendship" set. You can see the original card here. There was no link from that card. I did my best to copy it and add what I wanted on the card.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Balmy Blue card stock. This card is folded on the left and opens on the right. On top of that is a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Granny Apple Green card stock. I didn't texture it like the original card was done. Not much of that texture would show and I didn't put the piece on top of the Balmy Blue card base at an angle, I just put it on straight.
The Whisper White focal piece was cut 4" x 5-1/4". I stamped the Hydrangea image using Balmy Blue. I stamped the top part first and then the bottom part.

The leaves were stamped using Granny Apple Green ink. I was copying the card like the original card and when I went to add the words, I flipped the card so the top is at the bottom and the bottom is at the top. It just looked better to me.
I took some "Polka Dot" ribbon and added it the way the blue ribbon was added to the original card.
The words are from the same set. I stamped them using black Memento ink. I die cut it with 1-7/8" circle die. I set the words in place on top of the ribbon. I used Dimensionals to set the circle in place.
And for my final touch, I added some blue sequins using the "Iridescent Sequins" assortment. I picked out the blue ones and added them around the card and on the words.
It was a fun card to make and now I can say I used the Hydrangea image! I often have images in a set that I just don't use. I tried one time to make a point of using each one in the set but that went by the wayside fast. Perhaps because I forgot I was going to do that or I had bought the set because of one image in it that I loved. Do you ever do that? I wish that I would stop but I know that won't happen. LOL
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
