This is my last Paper Pumpkin alternative card. I have other cards I want to make or copy! But I had so many pieces left to my kit that I felt I needed to make one more using that yellowish circle. I ended up using a half circle, which means I could make a ton of these if I had enough of the other pieces.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that I added a 2-1/4" piece of Bermuda Bay card stock that I textured using the "Eyelet Lace" embossing folder. I taped it in place on top of the card base.
I cut one of the printed circles from the Paper Pumpkin kit and I added half of a doily to the back of it. I tape that in place on top of the Bermuda Bay piece. I didn't press the tape down on the upper edge, I needed it lifted so I could add the other elements.
I took two of those colored flowery vellum images and added some glue dots to the back and tucked them in under the Bermuda Bay piece.
Next I took a few of the leaf sets from the kit and colored the back using the dark Blends Pen. I cut them from the stem and used a glue dot to set them in place.
This is when I added the words. I set my card in my Stamparatus and placed the heavy duty magnet on top and stamped the words from the "Here's a Card" set using Bermuda Bay ink.
Then I added a few glue dots in a line along the center edge of the circle and began adding some of the linen thread that came with the kit.

I took the ribbon from the kit and took two lengths and tied a bow. I spread the bow a little to make it look wider. A single piece bow was too thin looking. I set that bow in place using three glue dots. I wanted to make sure it stuck and also that it would help the threads stick.
And for the final touch, I added some stick on sequins from the kit. There's SO many in there and SO many left.
And that was it. I really like the way this card looks. I had fun making it too! Plus I made it myself. I didn't copy it from anyone!!! I still have it (actually, I think I'm getting it back!) YAY!!!
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
