Today's card was VERY fun to make and I really like the looks of it. It's got a touch of sweetness to it. This layout can be done using any Designer Series Paper (DSP) that has flowers on it. Or even some DSP that has designs in it. I would think almost any DSP would work.
My card was very simple to make. First I took a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock for the base. This card is folded at the top and opens from the bottom.

I cut a 2-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of DSP from the Perennial Essence 12" x 12" package. I also cut a 2-3/8" x 5-1/2" piece of Balmy Blue card stock for the layer behind it. I taped those two together and then taped them to the card base. The bottom edge of the Balmy Blue layer is about 1/2" up from the bottom of the card base.
I stamped the words from the "Here's a Card" set using Black Memento ink. I used a 2-7/8" x 1-1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock. I could have stood to stamp the words a little closer to the bottom of the piece, but the place I stamped them worked. I added a Powder Pink piece that measured 3" x 1-5/8". And then I added a Balmy Blue piece that measured 3-1/8" x 1-3/4". I taped those layers together and set them in place on the card front using Dimensionals.
I punched out two flowers from the "Medium Daisy" punch. I taped the flowers together. I also punched out a 3/8" circle from a scrap piece of Crushed Curry card stock. I taped that to the center of the flower. And then I punched out a Pear Pizzazz leaf using the "Leaf" punch. I added a Dimensional to the back of the flower and I removed the protective backing. I stuck the stem of the leaf to the Dimensional and then I set the flower in place. And that was it. It's a super easy and quick card to make. I just LOVE the looks of it.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
