I took the day off yesterday to regroup and catch up on my rest. I've been SO tired. Too many things going on and of course I have to try to do them all at once. It caught up to me and I was exhausted. So I thought I would just take a day to do as little as possible. Rest and relax. And that included going down to my workroom to make a card. I'm back and here's my card.
I found this card here. I thought it was simply stunning. It's an easy card to make yet elegant looking.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White.
I set the card stock up in my Stamparatus and I stamped the flower using Flirty Flamingo ink. Then I set the leaves up, both styles at the same time and stamped them using Pear Pizzazz ink. I cleaned the leaf stamps and took the smaller one and stamped it one more time around the flower.
The words are from the same "Beautiful Friendship" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink.
I tied a piece of White Baker's Twine around the bottom of the card. I wrapped it three times and tied a knot and then the bow. I did add a little scotch tape to the back just to hold it in place. I set the piece on top of the card base using Dimensionals.

I added Wink of Stella to the rose and the card was done. This was a fun, quick and easy card to make. Can't you see the rose in different colors? And the card would be great as a get well, sympathy, Mother's Day or thinking of you. Love the versatility.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
