Today's card reminds me of the flat stamped cards from years ago. Before the punches and dies became popular (or in my case, necessary).
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Flirty Flamingo card stock. This card opens at the bottom and the fold is at the top.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock and taped it to the card base. And I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White card stock to stamp on.
I stamped the double roses in the image from the "Beautiful Friendship" set using Flirty Flamingo ink. I moved the image up a bit on the piece to make room for the smaller flower. I stamped the other flower using Flirty Flamingo ink as well.
I set the leaves in place around the image and I stamped them using Old Olive ink. I moved the leaves and stamped them again on the flowers.

The words are from the same set and I used black Memento ink to stamp them.
This was a very easy and quick card to make. I forgot how quick you could make a card with flat stamping. I still prefer all the punches and dies. I LOVE layering. I could have layered here but then that would mean "FUSSY CUTTING" UGH!!! NO!!! I'm not a big fan of fussy cutting, can you tell? LOL
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
