Today I thought I would play with my new Paper Pumpkin. Sometimes I wait a week or so (or longer) to play with the Paper Pumpkin kit. When the kit arrived in the mail I did punch everything out so when I sat down to work on it, I wouldn't have any excuse! LOL
I was not all that fond of the kit. I liked the colors of the printed images but I don't have any use for the bags that were to be embellished. SO, I decided to see what kind of cards I could come up with using the kit.
The kit came with the printed ribbon strip on the left, the Merry Merlot stitched circle, the ribbon and the sequins. I added the card stock. The words are from the "Beautiful Friendship" set. I stamped them using the Circle dies.
So to make my card I used a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock and I taped the printed ribbon strip to the left of the piece.
I stamped the words from the "Beautiful Friendship" set using Merry Merlot ink. I die cut the circle and taped it to the Merry Merlot Stitched circle. I die cut them low on the circle so I could have a space at the top. I set the circles in place using Dimensionals. I added a bow to the top of the words.
And for the final touch I added three sequins from the kit.
I set the piece on the card base using Dimensionals and the card was done. I have enough of these pieces to make 5 more cards. There's other items in the kit to make more cards too. I can see at least two more other designs with what is in the kit. Maybe more if I think really hard!!! LOL
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
