I am SO loving this new "Perennial Essence" Designer Series Paper (DSP). It just makes the card as it is. Today's card is a super simple and quick card.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
On top of the base I taped 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Night of Navy card stock.
I cut a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of "Perennial Essence" DSP. I taped that over the Night of Navy piece.
Then I cut a Night of Navy piece from the "Detailed Bands" dies. I SO love these dies. They cut nicely and look SO pretty! They were perfect for this card.
The words are from the "Here's a Card" and were stamped using black Memento ink. Night of Navy ink would work well here too. The "Detailed Bands" die set also has an oval die cut to fit in the "Detailed Bands" piece. I taped the words to the Detailed Bands piece and then I taped the piece to the DSP. Before I taped the piece to the DSP, I made sure the strips on each side of it were trimmed.
This was a fun card to make and super easy. I would like to make more but I don't want to use my pretty paper for that right now. I have a whole year to play with this paper. I know I can order more but I want to make sure I use it up first.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
