While cleaning off my worktable, I ran into a few finished turtles. Yup, all colored in and die cut with the stitched square die. I don't know what I was going to do with them but here's what I decided to make.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White cards stock. I added a 2" x 5-1/4" strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Magnolia Lane" 12" x 12" paper pack. I taped it to the left side of the card.
The words were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink. They were found in the same "Back on Your Feet" stamp set.
You can see how the turtle was colored in by clicking here. I made this turtle at the same time I made the on July 3rd.
I cut a 2-7/16" x 2-7/16" piece of Mossy Meadow card stock for the back layer. I set the piece in place using Dimensionals.
After putting this card together SO quickly, I'm thinking about stamping additional images and coloring them all at the same time and saving them for a later date. Then when you want to make a quick card or if you misplace them and run across them, you can have some fun putting a card together super fast!
I love how the DSP goes SO well with the turtle's coloring.
This was a fun card to put together and I think it's cute!
