Today I literally threw together a card. I have been cleaning up in my workroom. I had some small totes that held card-sized pieces perfectly so I set them out for sorting. One of the totes was for embossed card stock and that is where I grabbed the "Tufted" Whisper White piece from.
I actually had the Crumb Cake card base piece sitting in another bin. That bin was the card stock one. It was already folded. SO I taped the Whisper White piece to it.
I found a strip of Designer Series Paper(DSP) from the "Magnolia Lane" 12" x 12" paper pack. The DSP measured 1" x 4". I taped it in place on top of the "Tufted" Whisper White piece.
I had the giraffe from the "Back on Your Feet" set already stamped. I just had to color it. I colored the entire giraffe, except for the eyes using the light Daffodil Delight Blends pen. Then I colored in some areas using the dark Daffodil Delight Blends pen. I colored under the jaw line and mostly anywhere those little hash lines were drawn. I colored in the spot using the light Pumpkin Pie Blends pen and I added a little bit of the Balmy Blue color using the light Blends Pen. I taped that oval to a Mossy Meadow scalloped oval that I did have to die cut. I set the oval in place using Dimensionals.
I stamped the words from the "Back on Your Feet" set using Mossy Meadow ink. I die cut them with the smallest stitched circle die and I also die cut a small scalloped circle using Mossy Meadow card stock. I taped the circles together and set them in place using Dimensionals.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock for the inside of the card and that was it. I was able to use up some pieces that were just sitting around here and it actually made a decent card!
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
