Here's a Card, Perennial Essence, Birthday Card

I found this card on Split Coast Stampers and just LOVED it.  I thought I liked yesterday's card a LOT but today's topped it!

This is a very easy card to make.  I had fun making it and the excited about it from start to finish.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Petal Pink card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock.  It was taped on after the words were added.

I cut a 5" x 1-3/4" piece of the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 12" x 12" paper pack. I taped it onto a 5-1/8" x 1-7/8" piece of Petal Pink card stock.  I taped the strips to the Whisper White piece.  This allows me to see how much room I have for words.

I stamped the words from the "Here's a Card" set.  I laugh every time I see the name of that stamp set.  It's like giving a card to someone and saying "Here's a Card!"  LOL  Now I can tape the Whisper White piece to the card front. Oh, I stamped them using Mossy Meadow ink.

I took some card stock vellum and punched out small daisy and then I punched out another one but I had colored the vellum with the dark Petal Pink Blends Pen.  Next I punched out two large daisy images and then two more that I had colored with Petal Pink Blends Pen.  There's four large daisy sets for the bottom and two for the top.

I cut a 1" x 4-1/4" strip piece of Petal Pink card stock and used the "Triple Banner" punch. I taped that strip on the card front.  I put the daisy together using glue dots.  I alternated the colors.  I curled the ends using my bone folder and used glue dots to set it in place.  I added a faceted gem to the center of the daisy.

I colored some more vellum using the dark Old Olive Blends pen.  I punched them out using the leaf punch. I set them in place using glue dots.

I colored some rhinestones using the Old Olive Blends pen and let them dry a bit. I set them in place on the card and that was it.

Isn't it pretty?  I just LOVE it.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
