I played with the "Back on Your Feet" set again but this time I used the cute giraffe image. There's one more image in the set and I plan on playing with that in a day or two. That way I can say I actually used all the images in a stamp set. That doesn't happen very often. I have, on occasion, purchased a stamp set because of only one image in it. But now I try to be more frugal. I liked all the images in this set, but especially the turtle! That would explain why I used it first, right? LOL
So here's how I did it. The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock. And the Old Olive piece was cut to 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" and textured with the "Layered Leaves" embossing folder. I taped those two layers together and then I taped them to the card base.
I stamped the giraffe using black Memento ink. I die cut it using the largest "Stitched Oval" dies. Then I colored it in. I colored the whole thing with the light Daffodil Delight Blends pen. Then I colored the areas with the hash lines using the dark Daffodil Delight Blends pen.
I colored the spots using the light Pumpkin Pie Blends pen. I also used it to color the feet and ears.
I used the Soft Sea Foam Blends light pen to color the shadow under the giraffe.
I die cut a large scalloped oval for the layer behind it. I taped them together and set them in place on the front of the card with Dimensionals.

The words are from the same set and I stamped them with the black Memento ink and die cut them with the oval dies. And I die cut a black scalloped oval for the layer. I taped them together and set them in place with a Dimensional on the right and tape on the left. And that was it. A pretty quick, simple and cute card.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
