WOW, just like yesterday, the background looks pink. It's really a white piece of chipboard. It's from a 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper pack. It must be the lighting in my workroom. I don't know. But it's not part of the card, it's just the background.
This was a fun card to create. I had taken one of the small envelopes in the May 2019 Paper Pumpkin kits and trimmed it down to 3-1/8" x 4-1/2". I liked the soft stripes on the inside and I was planning on using that side but as I was popping out the flower die cuts in the kit I thought it would be fun to place it over the matching flower that was stamped on the envelope and make a card of this. So here's how I did it.
I stamped the "Thank You" that was in the kit and I used Pacific Point ink.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Balmy Blue. I stamped around the edges using Bashful Blue ink and the dotted image from the kit. I only stamped about 1" inward, there was no need to stamp the whole piece because the layers would hide it.
Then I took a 3-1/4" x 4-3/8" piece of Pacific Point card stock and taped the envelope piece to it. I set the layers in place on the card base using Dimensionals.
I set the die cut flowers in place using Dimensionals. I lined them up over the flowers that were already printed on the envelope.

And lastly I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside and the card was one.
I did have to laugh though. In an effort to use up the cards in the set I just created even more cards using the envelopes as a card. Not that I don't think it's fun to get more cards from a kit than it was designed for but I have a ton of things to do and now I have even more cards to make!!
This was fun to make though. It was quick and I was glad that I could use the envelope to make a card.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
