WOW, here's another super simple and quick card. You can use this layout with any Designer Series Paper (DSP) or stamped paper.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. This card opens at the bottom (the fold is at the top).
The first thing I did was to stamp the words from the "Perennial Birthday" set using Mossy Meadow ink. I had set the words up in my Stamparatus because I wanted to make sure I got them straight. I did end up inking and stamping it twice. One of the great things you can do when you use the Stamparatus. SO that is why my words look a little darker. I stamped the words first so I could figure out how long to cut the strips.
My strips of DSP were cut 1-3/8" x 2-1/2". I cut three strips. Then I cut three strips of Mossy Meadow that measured 1-1/2" x 2-5/8". I taped those two layers together. I added Dimensionals to the back of each panel. With a pencil, I lightly marked the center of my card at the top. I eyed the center of the middle panel and set it in place. If you start in the center, the other two panels are easier to add. I erased my pencil mark and the card was done. I like to use a kneadable eraser. If you don't have one, I highly recommend you getting one. They last a very long time. They remove graphite without leaving any marks on your paper or card stock, no matter how hard you rub it. They are called kneadable because you can actually stretch it, roll it and form it into shapes. I like to break pieces off and roll them into small tubes and replace the eraser in my mechanical pencil. I won't work without one!
Today's card was fun to make. I like the looks of it and I LOVE how quick and simple it was to create.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
