I was looking for a fun card to make and I found this one on Pinterest. You can see the original card here, I did change it a little.
I loved the flowers and I thought it was something from the new catalog that will be released in about a month. I have mixed feelings with teasers. LOL But this wasn't a teaser. This flower was from the April 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit. If you didn't purchase the Paper Pumpkin kit, the "Healing Hugs" set will work. The flower will be a bit more solid, which will still be pretty.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8 piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. And on top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White.
I stamped the middle flower first using Merry Merlot ink. Then I stamped the bottom flower using Blushing Bride ink. And then I stamped the top flower using Flirty Flamingo. I did mask the middle flower before stamping the top flower.
I continued to use the mask to stamp the leaves. I used Mossy Meadow for the leaves.

The words are from the same Paper Pumpkin kit and I stamped them using Mossy Meadow ink. I die cut them using an oval die. I die cut the Mossy Meadow oval from the 4-1/8" x 5-3/8 piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. This time I remembered to die cut from the center of the piece before I taped them together! Sometimes the mind does remember things! Now where was I? LOL
I taped the layers together and then I taped the ovals together. I set the ovals in place using Dimensionals. And that was it. Now I have my mom's Mother's Day card done! The original card using some (what looks like) Daffodil Delight in the center of the flowers. I may color some in, the centers do look like they need something.
This was a fun and quick card to make.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
