Today's card was a super quick and easy card to make. I love how Designer Series Paper (DSP) can just take over the card so you don't have to do a lot of stamping. I found this card on Pinterest but I forgot to get a link to it. So if you know who made this card, please let me know so I can give them credit and link back to them. I did change the words, but I actually had everything else to make the card!
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Rich Razzleberry card stock. On top I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the DSP from the "Share What You Love" 12" x 12" paper pack. I also cut a 4" x 1-3/4" piece of DSP from the same pack. The stripes are actually the backside of the flowers piece. I could have cut the larger piece 1-3/4" shorter but it didn't matter, the stripes weren't going the right direction. I just taped the striped piece over the full cut flower piece. I taped the flowered piece to the card base and then I taped a 6" piece of the Rich Razzleberry ribbon to the back of the card. I uses snail tape on the ribbon and I also taped the ends down using transparent tape. I took the end of the ribbon (still on the spool) and slipped it under the ribbon I had just taped down. I tied a knot and then I cut the ribbon. I like these kinds of knots because you can slide them to where you want them to be.
Next I taped the panel in place on top of the card base.
I stamped the words from the "Dandelion Wishes" set using Rich Razzleberry ink. I die cut them with the second smallest stitched circle die. I also die cut a scalloped circle that was just a little larger than the stitched circle using Rich Razzleberry card stock. I taped the circles together and then set them in place using Dimensionals. I added a "Petal Pink" rhinestone to the circle for a bit of bling.
And for the final piece, I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside and the card was done!
This was such an easy card to make. And I think it's pretty too!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
