The "Beautiful Bouquet" set is one I have not played with much but I do like it. I had found a card on Pinterest that used little daisy die cut images and I didn't have anything like that in my stamping stash, so I went through my sets to look for one that had small flowers that might work. And this is what I came up with.
I did change this card a little too. I had added an embossed strip of card stock between the scored lines.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.
I stamped the words from the soon to retire "Climbing Roses" set using Gorgeous Grape ink.
Next I stamped the flowers from the "Beautiful Bouquet" set using Highland Heather ink on three of them and Gorgeous Grape ink on the other three. I set them aside to dry.
Then I textured a 2-1/8" x 4-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock using the "Subtle" embossing folder. I taped the strip in place on the front of the card using snail tape. The bottom edge of the strip is about 1-3/8" from the bottom of the card.
I die cut the flowers and then set them in place on the "Subtle" textured strip using Dimensionals. I added some pearls to the center of each flower.
The layout is the same as the card on Pinterest but the flowers and textured strip are different. Oh and the color is too.
I thought it was a fun card to make. The flowers were fun to play with. I had some other die cutting to do, so I ran it through my Big Shot at the same time I did the flowers. It saves time later when I'm ready to work on the cards the other pieces were intended for. I don't know if it saves wear and tear on your Big Shot but I just like to be efficient. And now when I find the time to work on that project, a lot of my die cutting will be all done and it will seem like a breeze to put those cards together!
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
