Today I thought I would play a bit with the February 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit. I had some items still in the box. So today I took that box out and there were three images just like this. I grabbed my Stamparatus and off I went!
The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Gray. The light gray layer that is on top of the card base is from the kit. It's actually a folded half sheet of some printed grey. I trimmed it to 4-1/8" x 5-3/8". I cut another piece of Basic Gray at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8". And the focal piece I cut at 3-3/4" x 5".
I took out my Stamparatus and set the printed image in it. The words are from the "Sheltering Tree" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink. I used the Stamparatus for a couple of reasons. I wanted the words to be as straight as I could get them. These really are straight, the way the photo was taken makes them look crooked. The card opened up on my board and I just angled the camera to get the photo. And I used the Stamparatus because I was going to make all three of the cards the same.
I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside and the card was done. The kit also came with envelopes and I had some left so I paired the cards up with envelopes and they are done!!!
This card went together REALLY fast! I like how this looks and the image and words go perfectly together.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
